How To Obtain A Duplicate Copy Of Various Certificates From C.B.S.E.

Mark sheets, Passing certificates, Migration certificates of both High school and Intermediate are very important documents. These are required in seeking admissions for graduation in college and universities, job applications and interviews, official and legal issues and  most of the fields in our student and professional life. These documents serve as name proof, age proof, address proof etc. They are useful forever in our life and we need them at each stage of life, so we should keep them safe. But what should one do if any of these documents would lost, stolen or destroyed ?

No need to worry because C.B.S.E. (Central Board Of Secondary Education) has taken care of it. C.B.S.E provides option to obtain duplicate certificates and documents.

Follow the following steps :

1. Visit www.cbse.nic.in

2. Click on 'Public Portal' button.

3. Click on the 'Forms' button which is given on the left hand side on the thirteenth position from the above.

4. Click on the button 'Procedure and Form for Obtaining Duplicate Documents i.e.Marks Sheets/ Certificates and Migration Certificates.'

5. Download 2.30 MB application form by clicking the download button.

6. Read the guidelines carefully and fill the hard copy of the application form.

7. If your document of requirement is lost then you have to give the advertisement in  any of the local newspaper and submit the copy of newspaper along with application form and charges for duplicate form if you handing it to C.B.S.E. office in person(Charges for each duplicate form is rupees 100).

8. If you are sending the completely filled application form with post then you have to send the demand draft with it.

9. Documents will be issued after two weeks excluding holidays.
